The Fujitsu S-4/20H was a Fujitsu-developed mid-range workstation from the S Family that was equipped with a hyperSPARC processor, developed by Ross Technology in the U.S. The S-4/20H 150 and 150MP models were announced in November 1995 as products jointly developed by Fujitsu and PFU. The 200 model was announced in November 1996 with 1.3 times the integer computation performance of the 150 model.

(*1) hyperSPARC: A superscalar*7 processor developed by Ross Technology based on the SPARC architecture.
(*2) 10BASE: transmission speed of 10 Mbps.
(*3) SPECint: An index indicating a machine’s integer computation performance. Direct comparisons between the 92 benchmark and the 95 benchmark are not possible because they are based on different criteria.
(*4) SPECfp: An index indicating a machine’s floating point computation performance. Direct comparisons between the 92 benchmark and the 95 benchmark are not possible because they are based on different criteria.
(*5) SPECrate_int92: An index indicating the total integer computation performance of multiple processors.
(*6) SPECrate_fp92: An index indicating the total floating point computation performance of multiple processors.
(*7) Superscalar: A processing method that produces faster CPU throughputs by detecting and executing portions of a sequential program that can be run in parallel in hardware.
The specifications above were correct at the time the products were announced. Some specifications were later revised due to product upgrades.
