The F6708B, announced in April 1997, was a high-speed multicolor cut-sheet printer. It was the first printer for the Fujitsu GS series and the Fujitsu M series that could print seven colors simultaneously (red, blue, yellow, green, light blue, pink, and black). The same effect as using preprinted forms could be obtained by using a color for overlays. And by printing text in various colors, documents could be made easier to read, more powerful, and more attractive.
- Features of the F6708B:
- (1)Printing speeds were not affected by color printing
- The F6708B printed 50 pages per minute (with A4 paper) regardless of whether printing in color or monochrome or printing single sides or both sides. This was the result of using a four-position drum and precision print alignment technology.
- (2)Able to print seven colors simultaneously
- Attractive forms could be created because the F6708B could print seven colors simultaneously (red, blue, yellow, green, light blue, pink, and black).
